Ronald Humphrey is a masters track and field athlete from Chesapeake, Virginia, competing in the M65-69 age division. At the 2024 World Masters Athletics Championships in Gothenburg, Sweden, he won gold in the 300m hurdles (45.61) along with silver in the long jump and bronze in the 400m and 4x100m relay. At the USATF Masters Outdoor Championships, he set a new American record in the M65 300m hurdles, breaking the previous mark by nearly a full second. He first discovered masters athletics at age 55, after running middle-distance in high school and serving in the military, and now trains toward USATF Masters Hall of Fame induction.
